PRICING & BOOKING
UNDERSTANDING THE FINANCIALS & HOW TO BOOK MY WEDDING
It’s about trust and peace of mind. It’s about finding a partner for your celebration. We truly care about your entire experience; from the day you first wrote to us, until the morning you wake up as married couples on our farm.
A wedding can be a very complex affair, and it is hard to present every advantage of hosting it at Blenheim. Based on feedback from our couples, we provide more of everything, for much less money than even a DIY places can. Comparing apples and oranges can be hard. We make your wedding journey engaging, enjoyable and stress-free.
THE PRICING
It would be great if comparing venue pricing were as simple as a spreadsheet, but not all venues are as transparent about prices and real costs as we are at Blenheim.
We will send you the pricing details after you reach out to us, so this section is designed to give you a ballpark and a range. You can keep it lean and get close to the starting range, or splurge over the top, and spend in the upper range. Either way, we are all under one roof, no hidden costs, and it’s all included.
Price based on 100 guests for a complete wedding range from 29K to 39K, including site rental, ceremony and reception, in-house catering, and open bar, full-service staffing, all the rentals, insurance, and all fees included.
STEPS OF BOOKING
Here is a summary of the steps needed to book your wedding at Blenheim.
Your first step is to reach out with some basic details about your celebration: your preferred season or date, and how many guests you estimate will attend; we will share with you the pricing packages and availability.
If the basic costs are in line with your expectations, ask for a tour. We are open year round and our team are always available. You can also choose to do a pre-tour video chat with some of our team members.
After the tour and meeting with our team, which includes meeting our animals, we can produce a draft contract and quote based on your needs. So you have an exact understanding of your budget with us. It can be very helpful in comparing Blenheim with other venues (provided they are as transparent about the complete cost picture).
If you have a specific date or a narrow window of preferred dates in mind, and don’t want those dates to be snatched up by another couple while you explore venues, you have a choice to put a $500 deposit on a specific date; the hold takes the date off the market for 2 weeks. During that time you can visit other venues, and simultaneously work with our team to produce a draft contract.
You may bring a planner but it is not required since we are all under one roof, and we provide year-round advisory and organization.
The cost and payments are very transparent and straightforward. In order to book a date, all that is required is the first of 4 equal payments of the contract. Only the venue fee and a basic food and beverage package are required to book. After-party or rehearsal etc can be added at a later stage.
Once that first payment is made and the contract is signed, you will get access to our Wedding Roadmap, which is a collaboration tool we have perfected for over the years. It not only helps you plan your wedding at your pace, but also ensures that all your decisions and personal choices along the way are recorded in one place. We will give you a demo of the Wedding Roadmap during the tour.
The farm is located in the Catskills, a vast land of rolling pastures, forests, and our own private lake. Our farm is unique because it is set back from the road, right by the lake, there are no neighbors, no curfew, and no noise restrictions. While rural, the area has plenty of choices for lodging within 5-30 minutes from the farm, from wonderfully personalized historic bnb’s, country-style motels and boutique hotels, to large occupancy hotels like The Hamptons Inn in Oneonta. We will provide a full list of activities and accommodations, for those who want to enjoy all that Catskills has to offer. Welcome to Blenheim.
